About Adkisson Florist
Family owned and operated for three generations, Adkisson Florist has been a tradition in the floral industry since 1913.
Founders Lenna and Wise Adkisson established Adkisson's Florist in 1913. Fifty years later, their son Jay and his wife Tubby purchased the business. Tubby and Jay's son John, the third generation of Adkissons in the company, joined the firm in 1985.
Tubby has served as President of the Texas State Florists Association (TSFA) and is a recipient of the TSFA Lifetime Achievement Award.
Tubby is past chair of TSFA's Education Committee and is a Qualified Wedding Coordinator/Consultant. She is certified as an Advanced Texas Master Florist and has been inducted into the American Academy of Floriculture (AAF).
